Hey Beautiful People Of God

Hi Bro/Sis,

 

Life doesn't typically unfold the way we expect, and sometimes the journey feels lonely and overwhelming. I know that feeling well. What I wanted to do was share my story AFTER everything was figured out... after I felt stronger... after the messy middle was over. But God doesn't work that way. He wants our mess. As a matter of fact, often times when we're in a mess is typically when we're willing to surrender... the exact position He wants us in to finally LET GO.

Healing often happens slowly, imperfectly, and often in the middle of the questions.

​

The Lord was adamant in the creation of this blog and that this blog would be a part of, not only the healing and restoring of my heart and soul, but the healing and restoration of the heart and soul's of His children all over.

​

Because healing isn't meant to happen in isolation... trust me, I've tried, too many times to count.

 

This is a space where surrender, vulnerability, faith, and healing could co-exist. A space for the in-between seasons. The growing seasons. The "God, what are you doing?" seasons.

​

This blog is that space.

So, here I am. Surrendering to His plan.

​

I'm still learning how to trust God more deeply.

Still learning how to rest.

Still learning how to grow through what I go through.

​

Here you will find reflections on faith, healing, growth, and real life -- the beautiful parts as well as the tough parts. My prayer is that when you read these words, you know that you're not alone, you feel more encouraged, but most importantly you know that God is right here with you and that it is HE, who is bringing you through.
