Hello beautiful people of God,

I asked Holy Spirit whether I needed to upload a post today, and He said, no. However, He did prompt me to share a quick housekeeping note, along with a portion of a conversation I had with Him during my quiet time.

Sidebar - I thought I was going to post yesterday. I wrote an entire post, but when I finished, I didn't feel released to publish it.

The Lord is very intentional about what I write and when it's posted on this blog — because He's intentional about His people. This morning, He reminded me that I'm to be led in everything concerning this space. It's not that what I wrote was bad; it simply wasn't what He wanted posted yesterday. I thought it made sense for the flow and structure of the blog, but that's just it — this isn't about what looks good or sounds good. It's about being led by Him.

His ways are not our ways, neither are His thoughts our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). More than anything, God requires our obedience (1 Samuel 15:22). So I didn't post it.

One more quick note: there isn't a specific day that posts will be uploaded. I may post three times in one week and not at all the next. This blog will be Holy Spirit-led, not schedule-led — so please subscribe to be notified when a post is published.

And for those subscribed to my email list, be on the lookout for encouragement from the Lord, Scriptures I'm holding onto in this season, and anything else Holy Spirit wants shared.

All of this to say: I'm not in control of this blog. I will only post and send emails as led by Holy Spirit.
